Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

We never sell your data.

This Privacy Policy explains what data EXPAT LEGAL collects, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to protecting your privacy and complying with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the EU.

1. Data we collect

We collect: your contact details (email and, optionally, a phone number), a short description of your request, and your IP address (used only to detect your language/region). We do not collect or store your payment-card or financial details.

2. How we use your data

We use your data solely to connect you with your chosen specialist, to process your order through our payment provider, and to provide support. We do not use it for advertising profiling.

3. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to make the site work and to remember your cookie choice and language. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then not function correctly.

4. Sharing

We share your contact details and request only with the specialist you select, so that they can reach you. Payment data is processed by Mercuryo under their own privacy terms. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for up to 12 months after your last transaction, after which it is deleted, unless a longer period is required by law.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU, you have strong rights over your personal data. The table below summarises them; to exercise any right, contact our Data Protection Officer.

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures, including 256-bit SSL encryption in transit, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
